Updated Thesis Guidelines 10/15/2018
TOTAL length of the proposal is NOT to be more than 2 pages (3 with Title Page).
The proposal will consist of the following parts.
The MD Thesis proposal must be approved prior to the end of the 3rd year therefore your MUST SUBMIT THE THESIS PROPOSAL BY MAY 1.
The final MD Thesis must be approved before finalizing the 4th year.
Students whose thesis proposals have not yet been approved by the Thesis Committee will not be granted permission to commence their 4th year clinical electives.
The thesis proposal will include the following:

The thesis proposal will be reviewed by the Thesis Committee, by a Committee
member responsible for the particular field, and will be approved on condition that it
is acceptable from the scientific point of view and is written in accordance with the
above-mentioned guidelines. The Committee is authorized to request additional
changes and clarifications from the student, prior to continuing the handling of the
proposal.

- A summary of up to 300 words (the summary must be structured, that is to say, it must include background, objectives, research groups and methods, a sentence or two on the development of the project, and conclusions).
- Introduction and a review of the literature
- Objectives of the thesis
- Significance of the thesis
- Manner of performing the project (subjects/ materials and methods)
- The student’s practical role in the performance of the project
- Bibliography according to:
